Description

Today started very cloudy and never really cleared that much.
I have attached a shot of the sky that these images were taken through.
At times the Exp. was 20ms to keep around a 50% histogram. I thought it really a waste of time but it seemed to work.
You can be the Judge I guess.
One of my imaging friends alerted me to a large eruption that happened early our time, so I tried to see what was happening.
I just missed the magnetic loops I think but the evidence was there it the first image. The second image is a Surge prominence.
There was that nice filament, so I tried it as well.
I then decided to try an Animation through the cloud anyway. Processing has come along way to be able to make this work.
I managed an hour and 4 minutes until the screen went totally black. 0003 UTC until 0107 UTC.
Lunt 100 DS with ZWO432mm camera operating at F35.
